The Fire & Concrete Story
Fire & Concrete begins with your MyPLAYER as a top high school prospect committed to Duke, until a serious car accident puts your future in doubt. The story resumes two years later at a newly-recreated Rucker Park, accompanied by your cousin Cam (voiced and motion-captured by Vince Staples). 2K says the full cinematic story runs 11 chapters — more than double NBA 2K26's story length. Running Mate: Co-op, For the First Time
NBA 2K27 adds a first-for-the-series MyCAREER co-op feature: invite a friend to control your Running Mate, a custom G League-recruited teammate named Trace Miller, game-by-game throughout your story. Both players earn their own full VC and Season XP, and co-op is entirely optional.
